THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
Thank you for your entries and please see the bottom of this post if you would like to know who our winner was.

I love it when the boys take an interest in the things I like. Correction, SOME of the things I like. I'd be a little concerned if their curiosity ran to Vodka and Limes, Real Housewives of OC and Fifty Shades, but some of the more simple things I find enjoyment in are most definitely given a green light.

Gardening is something I love. My grandmother would be laughing from the clouds at me right now because for years she tried to get me listen to her when she spoke about her love of gardenias and geraniums. Holy Crap, the fact that I even know the names of those things would get her snorting.

One of the boys was out for the day so then there were two, and those remaining two were driving me completely bonkers with the "What can we do?" routine.

Before Christmas I was sent these kids gardening sets from Mr Fothergills, and I could have stuck my tongue down their throat in a passionate embrace, (if planting kits actually had mouths) as I was so damn pleased to be able to pull this rabbit out of my hat. Bonus points for being able to do something with the kids that I enjoy for once. Not that I really have anything against participating in a staging of World War between WWE wrestlers and Mr Potato Head (as long as I get to be The Undertaker), but this kind of activity is more my style.

These little Growing kits are beyond cute and super easy to use. Every thing you need is there in the packaging and after an hour of pottering around we are now not so patiently waiting for Sunflowers, Strawberries, Tomatoes and Lolly Plants to grow.

The checking the pots a thousand and ten times a day to see if they have grown may just do my head in, but secretly I got a real kick out of watching the little dudes outside in the fresh air, chatting as they mixed soil and talking about how much they are going to sell the resulting fruit for when it grows.

Hmmm future Entrepreneurs perhaps?
Proud mama? Hell yeah!
Great Grandmother doing cartwheels in heaven? Yep that too!

The lovely people at Mr Fothergills have set aside a complete kit with one of each of the Window Sill Kits and one of each of the Create and Grows for one of you guys to win.

All you need to do is LIKE Mr Fothergills on Facebook here and tell me what hobby of yours has your child or children taken an interest in and bam you have entered.

Sadly, at the moment we seem to share a love of singing loudly and very off tune along with the radio while we are in the car! But considering she is almost 3, I think we have plenty of time to develop her interests in some of my more entertaining hobbies like reading House & Garden mag and baking!!
